Stuart was born in Adelaide in 1959, and attended Grange Primary School and Henley High School before attending Adelaide University and graduating in law in 1981.
Stuart has practiced law for over 40 years in the various fields noted above, with an emphasis on advocacy and strategic advice to private and institutional clients as well as State, Commonwealth and local government entities.
Stuart has represented clients in courts in South Australia and the Northern Territory, including the Court of Appeal, Supreme Court (Full Court and Single Judge), Federal Court, Environment Resources and Development Court and District Court.
Stuart’s interests outside the law include golf, sailing and international travel.
